Belief that Jews were Responsible for Christ’s Death Increases: Prevalent Among Young People, Minorities and ‘Passion of Christ’ Viewers

In the aftermath of the release of the film The Passion of the Christ, this national survey of America investigates the extent of the belief that the Jews were responsible for Jesus’ death. Drawing a comparison with similar research almost a decade ago, it is seen that ascription to this belief has seen a statistically significant increase, especially amongst those below the age of the 30 and amongst ethnic minorities.
